Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ivan Wonstom! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sergio Moraes! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Nard Betker and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moraes takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Wonstom misses with a few strikes there.
Moraes tries to counter with a clinch but Wonstom shakes him off and moves away. Wonstom tests Moraes's chin there with a solid looking shot. Wonstom tries to bum rush Moraes with a series of wild strikes but Moraes uses good footwork to avoid the assault. A jab from Moraes misses. Moraes tries to clinch but Wonstom is having none of it. Wonstom misses with the combination.

We've been informed that Moraes has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Moraes tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Wonstom paws at him with a jab and circles away. Moraes has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wonstom gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Wonstom is squirming around, avoiding Moraes's attempts to control the action. Moraes seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Wonstom is holding on tight.

Wonstom lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Sloppy strikes from Wonstom. Those never looked like landing. A little jabbing left from Moraes on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Wonstom moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Wonstom will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Moraes crunches a lovely knee into Wonstom's ribcage. Moraes swings wildly with an uppercut but Wonstom uses good head movement to avoid it. Wonstom blocks an uppercut.
