Shebanov comes to the cage accompanied by Don't worry, be happy. Leopoldo has chosen Carmina Burana - Carl Orff as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Daniel Blasius and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shebanov stuffs the takedown attempt from Leopoldo. Leopoldo gets slowly back to his feet.
Shebanov misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Leopoldo.
Shebanov scores with a nice right hand.
It looks like Pedro Aristides Leopoldo has been cut.
Shebanov pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Leopoldo back to the cage. Shebanov follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Shebanov connects with the punch.
Shebanov punishes Leopoldo's body with a nice straight punch.
Shebanov misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Leopoldo.
And Leopoldo tries to counter it with a takedown but Shebanov pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Oooooh!!! Shebanov has knocked Leopoldo down with a huge combo! Shebanov steps away and waves a wobbly Leopoldo back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
That has opened up Pedro Aristides Leopoldo's cut even more.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Leopoldo slips a straight right by Shebanov.
Shebanov throws a series of punches but Leopoldo moves out of range.
A telegraphed right hand from Shebanov misses the target.
Leopoldo takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
We've been told by Shebanov's head coaches at Russian Fighting Community Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Leopoldo throws a body punch but Shebanov moves out of range.
Shebanov misses with a wild body shot.
Shebanov swings for the body but Leopoldo moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Leopoldo throws an overhand right that lands on Shebanov's shoulder, as Shebanov tries to avoid the shot.
Shebanov jabs at Leopoldo's body.
Shebanov cracks Leopoldo with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Leopoldo tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Shebanov pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Leopoldo is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Roman Shebanov!
