The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking cross lands there for Costner.
Hershel shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Costner defends it nicely.
Costner fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Costner looks to throw the jab but Hershel is out of range.
A combination from Costner does no damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nice sprawl there from Costner as Hershel shoots in.
Hershel throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Costner tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Hershel is in Costner's guard.

Hershel gets to mount! Costner was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Costner is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Hershel locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Costner is forced to tap!
