Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jamari Caram (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lubek Boyko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Lubek Boyko was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jamari Caram! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Lubek Boyko! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Roosa Järviläinen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Caram rushes Boyko and presses him up against the cage. Caram gets through Boyko's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Boyko tries for a takedown. No joy.
Caram is struggling to control the position. Caram prevents the takedown attempt.
Boyko looking to slow down the pace here. Caram gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Boyko.
Jamari Caram has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lubek Boyko. Caram dodges an elbow strike from Boyko.
Caram manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Caram lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Caram takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Boyko is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Caram can't fight it off and eventually Boyko manages to take the fight to the floor. Caram looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

My spies in Ironfist MMA inform me that Boyko has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Boyko won't allow Caram to get back to his feet. Caram wants to sweep here but Boyko controlling him for the moment. Caram working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Boyko. Boyko wants to control from the top but Caram keeps moving. Caram pulls Boyko in close to prevent any damage. Boyko wants to pass the guard but Caram is keeping the position. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Boyko with a flurry of punches that miss.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Boyko fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Caram is out of range. Caram throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Boyko. Caram instigates a clinch. Boyko letting Caram take a breather here. Boyko is pushing Caram up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. A shot in the inside from Caram. Caram misses with a hook from the clinch. Caram lands an uppercut. Caram pushes Boyko back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A head punch on the inside from Caram fails to land. Caram throws a knee to the head but misses.
Caram lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Boyko. Caram lands a right hand that snaps the head of Boyko backwards. Caram swings wildly with an uppercut but Boyko uses good head movement to avoid it. Boyko manages to break the clinch.

Caram fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Caram throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Boyko drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Caram defends it well. Caram is looking to clinch but Boyko is avoiding it.

Boyko walks forward, straight into a front kick from Caram. Caram looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Caram throws a sloppy head kick and Boyko counters with a series of strikes. Caram will be more careful next time no doubt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Caram tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Boyko was well out of range. Poor timing from Caram. Caram wants to slow Boyko down by chopping away at his legs. It seemed like Boyko was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Caram misses with a leg kick. Caram looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Boyko attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Jamari Caram is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Boyko misses with an uppercut. Caram saw that one coming. Caram lands a front kick. Caram throws a low kick but Boyko moves out of range easily. Boyko with the counter takedown but Caram avoids it easily. Caram misses with a body kick. Caram tries a head kick but it misses.
Boyko tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Caram will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Boyko tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Boyko slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jamari Caram dominated that round. That's time! Caram's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Caram feints and then cracks Boyko's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Boyko down. Boyko checks a low kick from Caram. Caram tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Caram throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Caram is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Boyko can do to turn this around? Caram throws a solid leg kick but Boyko takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Caram. Caram throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Boyko's jab looks to have found its range, popping Caram under the eye. Caram misses with a body kick. Caram fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Boyko. Caram pivots, looking for a leg kick but Boyko is out of range and Caram settles back down.
That's one minute gone in the round. Caram loads up on a big right hand but Boyko slips the punch. Caram misses with a head kick.
Caram takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Boyko misses with a hook. Caram ducked under it nicely. Boyko is looking to slow Caram down with leg kicks. Caram throws a sloppy head kick and Boyko moves out of range easily. Caram tried to score with a low kick but Boyko checks it. Caram throws a head kick but Boyko moves out of range.

Boyko landing with the ground and pound. Caram keeping moving, preventing Boyko from controlling successfully. Boyko preventing the sweep.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Boyko trying to control the position from guard on top but Caram is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Caram keeping full guard, as Boyko tries to pass. Boyko throwing strikes but missing.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Caram with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boyko takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
An inside leg kick lands from Caram. Boyko lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Caram tries to close the distance and clinch up but Boyko swats him away and circles back towards the center. Caram throws a leg kick but Boyko sees it coming and moves out of range. Caram throws a body kick that misses. Caram lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Boyko swats away the attempt to clinch by Caram. Boyko tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Caram lands a jab. Boyko avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

It seemed like Boyko was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Caram lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Caram lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Boyko circles away quickly and effectively. Boyko changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Boyko will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Caram tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Jamari Caram seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Caram misses with a wild body shot. Caram throws a leg kick but Boyko checks it. Boyko's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Caram misses with a kick to the body and Boyko decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Caram's guard. Boyko wants to control from the top but Caram keeps moving. Boyko missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Jamari Caram will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

A lazy left from Boyko finds it's target. Caram connects with a high kick. A low kick from Caram is predictable there and Boyko makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Boyko keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Caram throws a low kick but Boyko moves out of range easily. Caram uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Boyko looks to land a left hand but Caram moved out of range nicely. Boyko will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Caram feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Boyko's calf. Boyko lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Boyko misses with a double jab.
Caram moves to clinch but Boyko breaks away and Boyko counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Boyko. Caram is looking to sweep but instead, Boyko has passed into half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Boyko is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Caram is just riding it out for now. Boyko eventually gives up the hold. Caram has his hands clasped together around Boyko's back. He's all about the action. Caram trying to control here.
Lubek Boyko has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jamari Caram is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Caram moves into full guard.
Boyko is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Caram is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Caram has escaped and now he's on top! Boyko looking to hit a scissor sweep but Caram is one step ahead there.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Lubek Boyko. I think Caram has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
