Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Donald Grub and Andrew Berry.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bantam gets the takedown into side control.
Bantam misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Roach pushes Bantam away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Bantam gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Bantam landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Roach is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Roach is not content to let Bantam control the position.
Roach is trying to stand up here but Bantam is controlling him well.
Bantam not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Bantam wants to take a breather but Roach is having none of it.

Bantam is working for a kimura but Roach is defending it quite comfortably.
Bantam is keen to just control but Roach is a slippery customer.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bantam takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Roach is trying to stand.
Bantam wants to free his trapped foot but Roach is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Bantam with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Roach looks like he's trying to stand up.
Roach is staying active underneath Bantam, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Bantam frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Roach wants to hold on but Bantam pushes him away.

Bantam is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Roach to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Roach shrugs it off.
Bantam tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Roach wants to try and get back to his feet.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Bantam trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Bantam cracks Roach with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Roach is trying to escape the mount.
Roach is squirming around, avoiding Bantam's attempts to control the action.

Bantam is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Roach has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Roach wants to get back to his feet.
Bantam wants to control the pace but Roach is squirming around nicely.
Roach tries to improve his position but instead Bantam has taken his back!
Roach is trying to stand back up.
Bantam trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
Roach trying to get back to his feet but Bantam is in full control for now.
Bantam biding his time, looking for the opening.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Roach grimaces as he takes a shot to the body.

Bantam has got one arm under Roach's chin. This could be trouble... Roach trying to control the other hand but Bantam gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Roach has tapped out! The fight is over!
