Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Micheangelo Fripello and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ali shoots in but Cook avoids the takedown attempt easily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Cook looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ali throws a body kick that misses
enabling Cook to counter with a crisp jab.
Cook shoots in looking for a takedown but Ali manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Cook's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Himsou Ali seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Despite the aggression on Ali's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Cook manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cook is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Cook's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Cook is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
