Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Franklin Millers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Taras Shevchenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Franklin Millers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Taras Shevchenko! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Atkins and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shevchenko shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Millers manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Millers working a defensive guard here.
Millers knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Shevchenko on the ground. Shevchenko tries to free his leg and advance position but Millers is retaining full guard. Shevchenko wants to control from the top but Millers keeps moving. Shevchenko scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Shevchenko connects with a couple of short punches. Shevchenko throwing strikes but missing. Shevchenko makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Millers is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Millers keeping moving, preventing Shevchenko from controlling successfully. Shevchenko cracks Millers with a solid left hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Millers looking to control but Shevchenko passes into half guard.
Shevchenko looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Millers with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Shevchenko working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Shevchenko winds up and cracks Millers with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Shevchenko with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Shevchenko lands a big elbow - Millers is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Shevchenko!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Taras Shevchenko!
