Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alejandro Vasquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Gustav (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Steven Brown and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vasquez lands with a shot to the body.
Gustav paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Gustav throws a shot from downtown. Vasquez moves away and avoids it.
Vasquez dodges the punch combination from Gustav.
Marcus Gustav seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gustav bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Vasquez's head.
Gustav swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Vasquez tries to close the distance and clinch but Gustav swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Gustav misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Vasquez was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Gustav's coach down at Warrior Dogs was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Gustav's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Vasquez tries to bum rush Gustav with a series of wild strikes but Gustav uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
