Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Masahiko Kimura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antti Sokka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sokka has chosen Black Sun Aeon - Core of Winter as his entrance music. Antti Sokka will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Antti Sokka!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Yves DeLean and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
That kick from Sokka tenderised Kimura's leg. Kimura is trying to keep his angry face on.

Sokka throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Kimura in particular looking to stall.

Kimura is just content to waste time from the top position. Sokka takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Kimura is looking to advance position but Sokka has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Sokka tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Kimura is trying desperately to improve position.
Kimura might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Kimura tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sokka sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kimura somewhat.
Kimura is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
