Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Verner Stolt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Melvin Morris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Joseph Jones and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stolt scores with a nice body kick.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Stolt - that will leave a mark!
Stolt stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
A thudding body kick lands there by Stolt!
Stolt lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Morris shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Stolt as he avoids it easily.
No joy there for Morris, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Morris has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Stolt.

Stolt closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Stolt definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Stolt throws a big uppercut that drops Morris! More strikes from Stolt and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Morris lies dazed against the cage as Stolt celebrates with his cornermen!

A very excited looking Verner Stolt made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
Melvin Morris was interviewed post fight and said 'Coming into this fight my trainers... my manager... they all wanted me to turn it down, to put my focus on training and hold off on another fight so quickly.... but I love to fight man, win or lose I come to fight.... i'll be back.'.
