Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jared Nicholson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Warren Peace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jared Nicholson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Warren Peace! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Wagner Zegers and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nicholson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Nicholson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Peace. Peace is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Nicholson with a body shot. Nicholson throws a hook but Peace avoids it easily. Peace misses with a double jab
and Nicholson counters with a straight right hand. Nicholson misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Peace counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Nicholson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Peace. Peace changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nicholson tries to avoid it but Peace manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nicholson to the ground. Nicholson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Peace gets a double leg takedown into Nicholson's guard. Peace sitting in guard here, content to control. Peace forces his way into half guard. Peace prevents Nicholson from improving his position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Peace is working for a submission of some sort.
Peace is looking for a kimura here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nicholson wants to control but Peace is keeping busy and won't allow it. The fighters are battling for position here. Nicholson manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Nicholson wants to get back to his feet but Peace is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Peace trying to control but Nicholson is working from the bottom. Peace stopping the sweep attempt from Nicholson. Peace is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Nicholson looking to control.
Peace wants to control from the top but Nicholson keeps moving. Nicholson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Peace is one step ahead there. Nicholson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Peace is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Nicholson keeping moving, preventing Peace from controlling successfully. Nicholson wants to sweep here but Peace controlling him for the moment. Nicholson not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Peace slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Nicholson wants to control but Peace postures up. Peace is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Nicholson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Peace moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Peace is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Nicholson has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Peace looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Peace working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Nicholson is not content to let Peace control the position. Peace working away. Peace thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Peace tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Nicholson gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nicholson is trying to get back to full guard. Peace has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Nicholson defend it? Peace steps over the head and cranks it - Nicholson is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Peace!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Warren Peace! Warren Peace bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
