Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Fredrik Stenberg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mike Colston!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Colston ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Stenberg moves away.
Stenberg bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Stenberg looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
A looping hook to the body misses from Colston. Stenberg does a little dance to reset his feet.
Colston moves out of range of the strikes.
Stenberg misses the shot to the body.
Colston throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Stenberg attempts a counter takedown but Colston avoids it well and moves away.
Fredrik Stenberg seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Stenberg has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Stenberg takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Stenberg throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Colston tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Colston's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Stenberg connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Colston scrambles back to his feet.
Colston shoots in for a takedown but Stenberg shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

and Colston counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Stenberg!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Fredrik Stenberg is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Colston not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Stenberg is looking to control Colston's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Stenberg avoid being mounted?

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Colston walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Colston is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Stenberg rather than just go for the knockout.

Stenberg gets caught napping as Colston dives in and scores a takedown. Stenberg manages to retain guard.
Colston throws an elbow that misses. Stenberg uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Colston's guard. Nice move by Stenberg!

Stenberg seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Stenberg avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

I would just about give that final round to Mike Colston.
I think Stenberg has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
