The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Fedor Mirinova and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left and a right from Vukovic both land. Nice combination.
It looks like Jame Casey has been cut.
Vukovic tries to score a power double leg takedown but Casey sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Vukovic somewhat.
Vukovic decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Jame Casey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gordan Vukovic.

Casey gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Casey wants to sweep but no luck.
Casey pulls Vukovic in close to prevent any damage.

Vukovic looking to sit in guard and control but Casey gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Casey tries to keep at a distance but Vukovic has taken the fight into the clinch.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Vukovic accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Vukovic throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
And Casey counters with a quick kick to the body but Vukovic blocks it.
Vukovic has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Casey takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Vukovic misses with an uppercut. Casey saw that one coming.
Vukovic gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Casey stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Vukovic forces Casey back against the cage and clinches.
Vukovic pushes off an throws an elbow but Casey leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Vukovic's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Casey tries to keep at a distance but Vukovic has taken the fight into the clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Vukovic lands a shot to the body.

Vukovic wants to pass to mount but Casey is defending the position.
