Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Courtney Todd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fabian Peters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Courtney Todd! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Fabian Peters! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Radbod Blank and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Peters gets the takedown into side control. Todd tries to bench press Peters off him but Peters keeps the position. Peters thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Todd struggling a bit here. Todd is looking for a sweep. Peters tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Peters has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Todd tries to control but Peters manages to take his back. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Peters looks winded! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. You can see the frustration on Todd's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
That's one minute gone in the round. Todd is working hard here to advance position. Todd trying to control the hands but Peters won't let him. Todd is in bad spot here.
Todd trying to control the position but Peters manages to sink in the hooks. Peters has the hooks in. Todd is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Todd tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Todd working to try and regain half guard.
Todd wants to hold on but Peters pushes him away.

Todd is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Peters can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Todd is looking to escape. Todd is wriggling around trying to escape.
Peters thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

Todd throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Todd can't escape the position.
Poor strikes thrown by Peters there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Peters avoids the attempt from Todd to control. Todd is desperately trying to improve his position but Peters has a good base and remains in mount. Peters looking to control but Todd is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Peters thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Peters trying to control but Todd is having none of it. Todd wants to hold on but Peters pushes him away. Peters can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Todd is looking to escape. Peters avoids the attempt from Todd to control. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Todd manages to control the position for a moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fabian Peters dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Peters closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Peters lands in his opponent's guard. Peters trying to control but Todd is working from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Todd controlling the position. Peters tries to free his leg and advance position but Todd is retaining full guard. Todd pushes Peters off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Peters is breathing heavily. Peters closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
That's one minute gone in the round. What's Todd going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle. Peters working away. Todd manages to work his way to half guard, despite Peters's best efforts. Todd trying to control but Peters postures up.
Peters is trying to control the action in half guard but Todd is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Todd holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Todd is refusing to be controlled, as Peters sits in half guard.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Todd tries to clinch up but Peters circles away and keeps his distance. Todd lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Peters circles away quickly and effectively. A big left from Todd misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Todd clinches up with Peters and pushes him back against the cage. Todd taking a breather. Peters works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Peters is fighting to break Todd's control of his arms but Todd is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Todd looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Todd preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Todd has Peters pulled in close to control his posture.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Todd has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Peters preventing the sweep. Todd trying to control the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Todd moves in looking to clinch but Peters pushes him off. Peters shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Todd napping and manages to drive through into side control! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Todd is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Todd controlling the position for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fabian Peters showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Todd tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Peters manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Peters shoots in and gets a takedown into Todd's guard. Peters trying to control the position from guard on top but Todd is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Todd wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Peters takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Todd wants to stand and escape but Peters is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Todd throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Peters trying to control the position from guard on top but Todd is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Todd has his foot on Peters's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Peters works his way back into a safe position though. Todd working a defensive guard here.
Todd tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Peters scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Peters tries to stand but Todd is controlling his head. Todd struggling a bit here. Peters is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Todd knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Todd is trying to control Peters's posture but Peters avoids it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Todd regains half guard. Todd keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Todd is trying to control but can't.
Todd moves into full guard.
Todd is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Todd's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Peters drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Peters jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. A punch combination from Todd misses. Todd has Peters up against the cage in a clinch.
Peters is looking to break free of the clinch but Todd has double underhooks. Todd gets control of Peters's arms and successfully pulls guard. Todd will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Peters trying to control but Todd is working from the bottom. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Todd is pulling down on Peters's head to control his posture. Courtney Todd has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Fabian Peters is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Todd is trying to keep Peters in close.
And that's the end of the fight! Fabian Peters comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Peters winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
