Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Manny Gambyran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee Meredith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Manny Gambyran could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Lee Meredith's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gambyran fails with an attempt to clinch.
Meredith looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Meredith tries to pass to full mount but Gambyran defends it.
Gambyran makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Gambyran.
Meredith drops back looking for a leg! Gambyran is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gambyran manages to kick Meredith off! Meredith jumps back into Gambyran's guard.
Meredith drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Meredith jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Meredith drops back looking for a leg! Gambyran is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gambyran manages to kick Meredith off! Meredith jumps back into Gambyran's guard.
Meredith stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gambyran swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Meredith fails with a takedown attempt.
Meredith looks gassed!
Gambyran looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Meredith!
Meredith is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Gambyran controlling from the full mount.
Meredith is desperately trying to improve his position but Gambyran has a good base and remains in mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gambyran looking to control and managing it successfully.
Meredith tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Meredith wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
Gambyran gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes.
Gambyran trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
Meredith wants to escape the position.
Meredith staying busy and making it hard for Gambyran to control.
Meredith fending off the submission attempt from Gambyran.
Meredith tries to escape but Gambyran has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Gambyran tightening his grip on Meredith, looking for the choke.
Meredith tries to roll but Gambyran sticks to his back.
Meredith is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Meredith defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
Gambyran wants to control but Meredith is keeping busy.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Meredith tries to escape but Gambyran has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Meredith covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
Meredith wants to escape the position.
Gambyran scores with strikes from the back.
You can see the frustration on Meredith's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Gambyran's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Gambyran keeps control of the position as Meredith tries to break free.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gambyran shoots and misses
and Meredith counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Gambyran not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Meredith passes into half guard.
Meredith is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Meredith is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Gambyran is trying to stand back up but Meredith is controlling him
Meredith is looking to advance position but Gambyran won't allow it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Meredith is working for a submission of some sort.

Gambyran has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Meredith is working away from the top position though.
Gambyran tries to get to full guard but Meredith has control of the leg.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Meredith tries for a takedown but Gambyran sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Meredith fails with the takedown.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Meredith circles away from the clinch attempt.
Gambyran scores with a crisp jab that stopped Meredith in his tracks.
Meredith shoots in but no luck this time.
Manny Gambyran has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lee Meredith.
A combination from Gambyran does no damage.
Meredith swats away the attempt to clinch by Gambyran.
Meredith stuffs the takedown.
Gambyran wants to slow Meredith down by chopping away at his legs.
Nice sprawl there from Meredith as Gambyran shoots in.

Meredith shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Meredith moves to back control.
Meredith is looking for the choke from the back position but Gambyran is controlling his hands well.
Gambyran showing good submission defense here.
Meredith has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Gambyran is defending well but eventually Meredith manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Gambyran has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
