PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Travis Roberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Winner Four (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Winner Four told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Four gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Roberts is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Roberts seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Four for as long as he can get away with.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Roberts throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Four works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Roberts seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Winner Four is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Roberts sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Four throws a sloppy head kick and Roberts moves out of range easily.

Roberts is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Four is defending well.
Roberts has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Four after a bit of a struggle.
Roberts has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Four is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Roberts has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Four clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Roberts has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Four is defending well but eventually Roberts manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Four has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
