Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Freddie Glass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wu Wei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wei is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Nights. Wu Wei has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Freddie Glass! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Wu Wei! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Darius Henderson and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wei falls off balance throwing a combination
and Glass moves into the clinch. Wei is looking to break free of the clinch but Glass has double underhooks. Wei looking to throw knees to the head but Glass is blocking nicely.
Glass pulls Wei into guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Glass is on top in guard.
Wei throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Glass escapes and throws Wei's legs to the side, diving into side control! Wei is trying to control Glass's posture but Glass avoids it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Glass looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Glass really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Wei tries to bench press Glass off him but Glass keeps the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Glass remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Wei manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Glass is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Glass seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Wei is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Freddie Glass! Wu Wei spoke after the fight, saying 'Why do we fall? So we could rise higher.'.
