Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Efrain Cantu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zach Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zach Allen will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Efrain Cantu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Zach Allen!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Trevor Gratis and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Allen closes the distance and pushes Cantu back into the cage.

Allen lands a nice hook to Cantu's body. Cantu takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Allen goes for a double leg but Cantu avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Cantu continues to drive forward.
Allen thumps Cantu with a low kick.

Allen tries to land a knee to the head but Cantu blocks with his arms.
Cantu tries to throw a body punch but Allen avoids it by throwing Cantu back against the cage.

Allen has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Cantu is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Cantu is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Allen has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Cantu is working away from the top position though.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Cantu is nestled in close to Allen, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

That was a close second round but I would say that Efrain Cantu will probably get the nod.

Cantu will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Allen up against the cage.

Cantu tries to close the distance and clinch up but Allen swats him away and circles back towards the center.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Cantu misses with the head strike.

Allen escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Allen keeps the fight on the outside.
Allen looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Efrain Cantu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zach Allen.
Cantu shoots in but no luck this time.
Cantu takes a kick to the side of the head.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Allen throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Allen moves into range and clinches up with Cantu.

Zach Allen comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Allen has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
