Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Alvin Loredo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Li Kong Ho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 1, fighting out of New York, Alvin Loredo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Li Kong Ho! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ho misses with a double jab
and Loredo counters with a lovely straight right hand! Ho throws a lazy right hand but Loredo sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Ho darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Loredo manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Ho keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. I was talking to Loredo's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. A head punch on the inside from Ho fails to land. Ho misses with the head strike.
Ho has a couple of punches blocked by Loredo.
Ho being controlled against the cage. Ho lands with a left to the head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Loredo blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Loredo is trying to break the clinch but Ho has him pressed against the cage. Ho can't find room to land a body shot as Loredo controls the action.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ho stalling the fight.
Ho tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Loredo manages to break the clinch.
Ho pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Nice uppercut there from Ho. Loredo lands with an overhand left. Loredo pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Ho moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Alvin Loredo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Ho moves out of range of the strikes. We've been informed that Ho has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Loredo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ho tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Loredo swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Loredo stuffs the takedown. Loredo defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Ho. A big left from Loredo misses. Ho on the wrong end of a nice hook.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Ho is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Loredo lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Loredo.
Ho is rocked! Loredo throws an overhand right that drops Ho like a sack of potatoes! Loredo dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alvin Loredo!
