Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chiun Remo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maxim Taisumov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Taisumov has chosen eRa- Enae Volare Mezzo as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Chiun Remo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Maxim Taisumov!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Alyssa Summers and Jonathan Paton.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Remo darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Taisumov is trying to stand.

Taisumov looks like he's trying to stand up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Taisumov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Remo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Taisumov unleashes a big counter combination but Remo bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Taisumov lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Remo circles away quickly and effectively.

Taisumov looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Remo seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Remo slips a jab and a cross from Taisumov.

Taisumov misses with a two punch combination.
Remo tries to counter by clinching up but Taisumov breaks away and moves out of range.
Taisumov is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Remo.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Taisumov swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
It looked like Remo wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Maxim Taisumov dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

It looks like Maxim Taisumov has been cut.
Remo shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Taisumov as he avoids it easily.
Remo shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Taisumov defends it nicely.
Taisumov jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Remo slips under a jab.
Remo misses with a takedown
and Taisumov counters with a two punch combo.
Remo shoots for a takedown but Taisumov saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Maxim Taisumov seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Taisumov misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Taisumov lands a left and a right that send Remo crashing to the mat, dazed. Taisumov thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


Remo is rocked!
Taisumov throws a right hand that Remo ducks under and follows up with a left that Remo also avoids with ease.
Oh Remo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Taisumov uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Taisumov throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Remo tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Taisumov comes in over the top with a devastating right hand! Remo stumbles back against the cage, looking to regain his senses but Taisumov is on him like rabid pit bull! Remo slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:47 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Maxim Taisumov!
Our winner, Maxim Taisumov, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
Chiun Remo was interviewed post fight and said 'i cant understand this result !!! '.
