Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Kirillov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Molly Speedball (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Molly Speedball is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Max Kirillov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Molly Speedball! The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Winston Alpacca and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kirillov tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Speedball swivels and escapes. Speedball scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Speedball defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kirillov. Speedball now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Kirillov darts in looking for a takedown but Speedball gets double underhooks and turns Kirillov into the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Max Kirillov. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kirillov pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Speedball now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Speedball looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Speedball misses with an uppercut. A decent looking cross lands there for Speedball. Speedball throws a series of punches but Kirillov moves out of range. The fighters circling - Kirillov throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Speedball avoids a lazy jab quite easily. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Speedball! But no joy. Speedball swinging wildly here.
Speedball throws a hook but Kirillov blocks it. Kirillov drives through with a takedown into Speedball's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Speedball holds on and takes a little breather. Speedball is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Speedball keeping moving, preventing Kirillov from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Speedball looking for a sweep. Not yet Speedball, not yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kirillov passes easily into side control. Nice work. Kirillov wants to lay and pray for a moment but Speedball keeps working. Kirillov has hold of Speedball's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Speedball tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Kirillov cranks the arm and Speedball screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Speedball, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Max Kirillov! Max Kirillov was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
