Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bernardo Mikixi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ling Manchu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Bernardo Mikixi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Ling Manchu!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Ackerman and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manchu moves in looking to clinch but Mikixi pushes him off.
Manchu tries to clinch but Mikixi moves out of range.
Manchu misses with a lunging right hand
and Mikixi counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Manchu shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Mikixi gets full guard.
Mikixi escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Manchu gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Mikixi manages to escape and get back to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Manchu closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Mikixi quickly recovers to half guard.
Manchu stops Mikixi from getting back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mikixi has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Manchu is on him like a limpet, forcing Mikixi back against the cage.
Manchu lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mikixi is trying to stand.
Manchu wants to take a breather but Mikixi is having none of it.
Mikixi is trying to stand.
Mikixi manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Manchu keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Manchu has Mikixi pressed against the cage, preventing Mikixi from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Mikixi wants the takedown. Manchu is fighting it off but Mikixi persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Manchu's guard against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mikixi trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Mikixi is working Manchu over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Mikixi stands up over Manchu, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Manchu working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Mikixi.

Mikixi is pushing down on Manchu's leg trying to pass to half guard. Manchu is fighting to maintain full guard but Mikixi has managed to sneak the leg through.
Mikixi working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Mikixi is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Manchu defends it well.
Mikixi wants to take a breather but Manchu is having none of it.

Mikixi passes Manchu's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Manchu looks winded!

Mikixi wants to lay and pray for a moment but Manchu keeps working.

Mikixi is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Manchu sees it coming and defends easily.
Mikixi throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Mikixi is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Mikixi uses his free foot to push down on Manchu's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Manchu.

Mikixi postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Manchu badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Mikixi around the waist but Mikixi pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Mikixi is the winner by TKO! Mikixi jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bernardo Mikixi!
An out of breath Bernardo Mikixi thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
