And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Prince Edgar!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Micheangelo Fripello and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edgar tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lewis paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Jamal Lewis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lewis falls off balance throwing a combination
and Edgar counters by clinching up.
Lewis has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Edgar clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Edgar defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Lewis's arms.
Lewis doesn't have the hooks in and Edgar manages to turn into his guard.
Lewis looking to hit a scissor sweep but Edgar is one step ahead there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Edgar wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lewis keeps working.
A lull in the action here.
Edgar goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Lewis has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Edgar but great work by Lewis.

We've been hearing that Lewis has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Lewis thows a huge punch but Edgar dodges it nicely.

Lewis closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Edgar quickly recovers to half guard.

Lewis is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Edgar defends it well.

Lewis lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Edgar circles away quickly and effectively.
Edgar fails in his attempt to clinch.
Lewis feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Edgar drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Edgar as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Lewis screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Edgar! Nice submission victory there!
