Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Harry Orinoco!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Sam Fielders!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Michael Johnstone and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fielders closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Fielders tries for a takedown but Orinoco circles away easily
enabling Orinoco to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Sam Fielders has been cut.
Fielders slips under a jab from Orinoco.
Fielders is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Orinoco lands a head shot.
Orinoco connects with a good right hand that stumbles Fielders. Fielders circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Fielders shoots in for a takedown but Orinoco shows good takedown defense.
Fielders tries to clinch but Orinoco is having none of it.
Fielders misses with a takedown
and Orinoco connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Harry Orinoco has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sam Fielders.
Fielders with a lazy takedown attempt
and Orinoco counters with a crisp right hand that drops Fielders! Orinoco lets Fielders back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Fielders is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Orinoco throws an overhand right that lands on Fielders's shoulder, as Fielders tries to avoid the shot.
As Orinoco backs off Fielders throws a huge counter combo but Orinoco manages to avoid it all.
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Orinoco engages and cracks Fielders with a massive lead left hook - Fielders tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Orinoco is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Harry Orinoco!
A relieved looking Harry Orinoco thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
