0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, GI Bro! The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, David Hoff and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Frankenfurter drops his hands momentarily and Bro takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Bro has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Bro displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Frankenfurter. Bro takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Frankenfurter goes for a double leg but Bro avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Bro continues to drive forward. Bro tries to counter with a clinch but Frankenfurter shakes him off and moves away. Frankenfurter shoots in but no luck this time. Bro is clearly looking to counter with head kicks. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lemmy Frankenfurter. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bro dives in for a single leg takedown but Frankenfurter sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Frankenfurter leaves Bro with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Bro rushes Frankenfurter and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bro prevents a takedown attempt there.

The referee is keeping an eye on Frankenfurter - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Bro looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Bro drops down looking for an ankle pick but Frankenfurter pulls his leg out and moves away.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bro. A counter left hand to the body from Frankenfurter misses its target. Frankenfurter looks for a takedown but Bro sprawls well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Frankenfurter on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Frankenfurter tries to keep at a distance but Bro has taken the fight into the clinch. Bro fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Frankenfurter wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Frankenfurter looking for a takedown. Frankenfurter manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Frankenfurter on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Frankenfurter tries to get out of the position. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Frankenfurter is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar!
