Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Victor Ulriksen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Black Belt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ulriksen comes to the cage accompanied by Threw It On The Ground. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Victor Ulriksen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 19 - 0, fighting out of London, Black Belt!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Chris Edwards and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Belt closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Ulriksen did well to prevent Belt getting side control.
Ulriksen is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ulriksen is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Ulriksen is defending against the submission attempts here by Belt.
Ulriksen keeps control of the position for the meantime.
Belt passes the guard and advances to mount!

Belt is working for a guillotine from mount but Ulriksen frees his head quite easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ulriksen is trying to escape the mount.

Ulriksen tries to hold on but Belt pushes him away.

Belt looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Ulriksen is wriggling around trying to escape.
Belt throws some wild stikes that Ulriksen manages to avoid easily.
Ulriksen sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Belt working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Belt is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Ulriksen doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Belt.

Belt is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Belt tries to pass to full mount but Ulriksen defends it.
Ulriksen is looking to improve his position.
Belt is trying to control. Ulriksen wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Ulriksen is trying to maintain the position but Belt is very close to passing his half guard.
Belt tries to pass the half guard into mount. Ulriksen knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Belt is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Ulriksen has managed to free his arm - good work.

Belt is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Ulriksen is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Belt's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Belt's back!
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Ulriksen's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
You can see the frustration on Belt's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Belt tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Belt is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Ulriksen fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Ulriksen tries to control but Belt wriggling away.
Ulriksen breaks from Belt's wrist control and lands an elbow.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Victor Ulriksen dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Belt shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Belt was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Belt wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Ulriksen, who protects the arm well.
Ulriksen manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Ulriksen wants to pass the guard but Belt is defending well.
Ulriksen throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Belt takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Belt is trying to control Ulriksen's posture but Ulriksen avoids it.
Ulriksen is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Belt can do to turn this around?

Ulriksen scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Belt to see if he's OK.
Ulriksen throwing strikes but Belt manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
Belt creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Ulriksen sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Ulriksen looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Belt fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Belt shoots in looking for a takedown. Ulriksen tries to sprawl out of it but Belt keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ulriksen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Belt clinches up with Ulriksen and pushes him back against the cage.

Belt stops a takedown attempt from Ulriksen.
Belt is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Ulriksen to keep the fight standing.
Victor Ulriksen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Black Belt.

Ulriksen gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Belt regains guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Belt holds on and takes a little breather.

Belt looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Ulriksen in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Belt pulls Ulriksen in close to prevent any damage.

Ulriksen avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Ulriksen lands a couple of elbows.
Ulriksen throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Belt works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Belt has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ulriksen can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Belt had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Ulriksen defends it easily.
Ulriksen not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Ulriksen works to advance to full mount. Belt defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Black Belt has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Belt throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.

And that's the end of the fight!
Victor Ulriksen showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ulriksen, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
