Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jienaro Marfil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Pain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marfil comes to the cage accompanied by New Divide. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pain feints and as Marfil raises his hands in defense, Pain changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Pain slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Pain thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Pain staying calm.

Pain is trying to get an arm triangle but Marfil is defending well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Pain might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Marfil haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Marfil takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Marfil is not content to let Pain control the position.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Pain content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Pain is looking to take a break and control but Marfil is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Pain has hold of Marfil's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Marfil seems comfortable defending it but Pain has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Marfil is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Marfil is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Pain couldn't care less - he's delighted!
