Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Modesto Morgan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jeremiah Hardline!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morgan walks into a straight right hand from Hardline.
Hardline throws a leg kick but Morgan moved away.
Morgan throws a quick counter head kick but Hardline was just out of range.
Morgan throws a sloppy head kick
and Hardline counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Hardline scores with a crisp jab that stopped Morgan in his tracks.
Hardline throws a low kick but it's checked well by Morgan.
Hardline throws a leg kick but Morgan sees it coming and checks it nicely.
It looked like Morgan was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Hardline lands with a right hand.
Hardline fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Morgan is out of range.
Hardline feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Morgans jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hardline throws out a leg kick but Morgan moves out of range and Hardline only half commits.
Morgan thinks about countering with a head kick.
A right-left combo lands from Hardline.
Hardline throws a good cross that connects.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Morgan avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A head kick by Morgan misses
and Morgan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Hardline is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Morgan shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hardline sprawls well. Hardline wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Morgan gets slowly back to his feet.
Hardline now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Morgan blocks a low kick nicely.
Morgan's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Hardline connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Morgan scrambles back to his feet.
Morgan checks a low kick from Hardline.
Hardline pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Hardline wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Hardline looks to land a combination. Morgan sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Morgan keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Hardline.
Hardline fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Morgan is out of range.
Morgan tries to clinch but fails miserably
letting Hardline counter with a right hand.
Hardline fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Morgan checks it well.
Morgan looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
Hardline will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Hardline misses with an uppercut. Morgan saw that one coming.
As Hardline looks to move away, Morgan throws a big counter combo bu Hardline just gets out of the way.
Hardline scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Hardline is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Morgan had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Morgan blocks a jab.
Morgan attempts a counter takedown but Hardline avoids it well and moves away.
Hardline has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Morgan throws a lazy head kick
and Morgan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Morgan changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hardline looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hardline tries to buck Morgan off but Morgan is having none of it.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hardline can do anything to dispel that myth.
Hardline looks winded!
Morgan working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Morgan could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Morgan wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Hardline, who protects the arm well.
Morgan throws a strike aimed at the side of Hardline's head but Hardline avoids it well.

Morgan is working to tighten his grip on Hardline's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Hardline has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Morgan is really squeezing tight and eventually Hardline passes out! Morgan breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Modesto Morgan!
