Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Glen Danzig (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Saul Garcia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Danzig might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Misfits- Night of the Living Dead. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Glen Danzig! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Saul Garcia! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Glass and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Danzig shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Garcia eats them both and turns towards Danzig to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Danzig connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Garcia momentarily.
Garcia closes the distance but Danzig moves to the side and Danzig counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Garcia throws a head kick but Danzig moves out of range.
Danzig ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Nice shot by Danzig. Garcia fails in his attempt to clinch. Garcia throws a hook to the side of Danzig's head but Danzig sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Garcia takes one on the button. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Garcia takes a jab right on the kisser.
Garcia goes for a double leg but Danzig avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Danzig continues to drive forward. Danzig swats away the attempt to clinch by Garcia. Danzig thuds his right hand into Garcia's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Garcia on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Danzig. Danzig obviously looking to wear him down.
That's one minute gone in the round. Danzig keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Garcia looks for a takedown but Danzig sprawls well. Glen Danzig has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Saul Garcia. Danzig jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Danzig ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Danzig.
Glen Danzig is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Danzig fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Garcia. Danzig throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Garcia's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Danzig dives in looking to finish as Garcia flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Danzig's strikes! Danzig is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Garcia's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Garcia was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Glen Danzig! Glen Danzig tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
