Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Daniel Franklin and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dean connects with a high kick.
It looks like Lucia Gracie has been cut.
Gracie looks for a takedown but Dean sprawls well.
Gracie shoots in but no luck this time.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dean but Dean pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Alan Dean has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lucia Gracie .
Dean shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Gracie is defending against the submission attempts here by Dean.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gracie has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Dean is working away from the top position though.
Gracie is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Dean is staying active.

Gracie makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Gracie .
Dean got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gracie has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dean has managed to get both his arms back between Gracie 's legs - danger averted.
Gracie looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Gracie is working an open guard so Dean takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Dean gets a takedown into half guard.
Gracie trying to hold on to Dean's head to control him but Dean postures up.

Gracie tries to roll over but Dean keeps him under control.
Dean tries to pass to full mount but Gracie defends it.
Gracie missing with punches from the bottom.
Gracie tries to get to full guard but Dean has control of the leg.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Gracie flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Dean prevents Gracie from improving his position.
Dean wants to pass to mount but Gracie is defending the position.

Gracie regains full guard. Nicely done.
Gracie not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Gracie throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Gracie is on top in guard.
Gracie looking to sit in guard and control but Dean gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Gracie wants to sweep here but Dean controlling him for the moment.
Gracie looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Dean passes into half guard.
Gracie gets back to full guard.

Gracie working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dean doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Gracie is tightening it up a little... Dean has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Dean reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Dean taps out! Nice BJJ there by Gracie !
