Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andre Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roy Jones Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roy Jones Jr will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Roy Jones Jr! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Konstantin Menshow and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones Jr throws a nice looking combination but Adams bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Adams avoids a punch combination nicely.

It looks like Roy Jones Jr has been cut. Adams pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Adams gets a takedown into half guard. Adams prevents Jones Jr from standing back up.
Adams is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. This has been an exciting period of action! Adams scoring with strikes to the body and head. Adams is trying to work for a kimura but Jones Jr is defending well.

Adams looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
