Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alfonso Bebeto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Marcelo Strazas!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Phil Schofield and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strazas lands a high kick!
Bebeto avoids the head kick by Strazas.
A jab from Strazas finds it's way through Bebeto's defenses.
Strazas delivers a nice body kick.
Strazas tries a head kick but it misses.
Bebeto appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Strazas throws a head kick but Bebeto moves out of range.
Strazas scoring well with a low kick there.
Bebeto avoids a kick to the body.
Strazas throws a solid leg kick but Bebeto takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Strazas.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bebeto blocks a head kick by Strazas.
Bebeto ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Bebeto fails with a takedown attempt.

A decent looking cross lands there for Strazas.
Strazas dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Bebeto. That did some damage!
Bebeto will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
A slow jab from Strazas misses its intended target.
Bebeto shoots for a takedown but Strazas saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alfonso Bebeto. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Strazas does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Strazas misses with a low kick.
Bebeto has a takedown stuffed.

Bebeto takes a kick to the side of the head.
Bebeto shoots in and drives through. Strazas sprawls well.
Marcelo Strazas is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Strazas misses with a straight left.
Bebeto takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Bebeto shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Strazas counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Strazas throws a nice head kick!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bebeto takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Strazas tries a head kick but it misses.

Bebeto blocks a head kick by Strazas.
Bebeto avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Bebeto feinted with a counter takedown.
Strazas plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Strazas throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Bebeto's head.
Strazas is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Strazas throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Bebeto throws a left and a right that both miss
and Strazas counters with a straight right hand.

Bebeto drives through with a takedown into Strazas's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bebeto trying to control the position from guard on top but Strazas is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bebeto controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Bebeto pushes down on Strazas's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Bebeto wants to pass the guard but Strazas is defending well.
Bebeto is trying to control the action in half guard but Strazas is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Strazas tries to kick Bebeto off but Bebeto keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Bebeto slows the pace down in half guard.

Bebeto in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Strazas tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Bebeto!
