The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rusky avoids the body shot from Rodriguez.

We've been told by Rodriguez's head coaches at Team Beta Male that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Rusky swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Rusky misses with an uppercut
and Rodriguez counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Rusky is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Rusky misses with a combination
and Rodriguez connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Rodriguez throws a lazy right hand but Rusky sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

It looked like Rodriguez wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Rusky replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Rodriguez blocks it well.

Rusky takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Rodriguez ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Rusky is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Rodriguez doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Rusky crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Rusky's bad books for that mishap!
