Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Cung Le (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Amun Ra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Le kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Untouchable . Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Richard Clark and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Le tries to clinch but Ra moves out of range.
A slow jab from Ra misses its intended target.
Le misses with a left hand
and Ra counters with a nice uppercut.
Ra throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ra moves out of range of the strikes.
Ra is looking for the big counter here.
Le misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Cung Le seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ra throws an overhand right that lands on Le's shoulder, as Le tries to avoid the shot.
Le throws a body punch but Ra moves out of range.
Ra throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Le.
Ra bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Le's head.
The fight stays on the outside here - Le looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
It seemed like Ra was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Cung Le is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Le feints and then cracks Ra's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Ra down.
Ra moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Le throws a solid leg kick but Ra takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Le.
Le lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Le takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Ra connects with a leg kick. Le looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Le tries to land a front kick but Ra steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Le moves out of range as Ra throws a body kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ra slips under a jab from Le.
And Ra tries to counter it with a takedown but Le pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Le lands a nice hook to Ra's body. Ra takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ra uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Le.
Ra throws a nice outside leg kick.
Ra misses the shot to the body.

Ra uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Le.
Le swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Ra.
Ra lands a really nice looking cross but Le seems unphased.
Ra throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Le on the side of the head.
Ra pivots, looking for a leg kick but Le is out of range and Ra settles back down.
Le scoring well with a low kick there.
Ra ducks under a wild hook from Le.
Ra misses with an attempted mid kick.

Le throws a body shot but no joy.

Le throws a leg kick but Ra checks it.

Our sources have told us that Le has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight.
Le throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Ra blocks it with crossed arms.

Ra is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Le gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Cung Le has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Amun Ra.
Le lands a hook that snaps the head of Ra backwards.
Ra lands a body shot in the clinch.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Ra changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Le fights it off and pushes away nicely.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Le looks to land a left hand but Ra moved out of range nicely.
Ra doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Ra is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Le had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Some bone on bone action there as Ra checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Ra pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Amun Ra will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Ra connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Le's hands.

Le avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

Donk. Le catches Ra right on the button with a cross.
Ra is rocked!
Le fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Ra is still on wobbly legs! Can Le finish him?
Le walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Ra drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Le swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Ra's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
