Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Alejandro Sepulveda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and L Manning Hines (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Valeri Chadov and Vladimir Khabensky.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sepulveda tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Sepulveda fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hines sprawls well initially but Sepulveda persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Hines is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Sepulveda's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Sepulveda's back!
Sepulveda turns into Hines and is now in his guard.
Hines is adopting a defensive guard.
Sepulveda has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Hines is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Sepulveda defends well.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hines wants to sweep here but Sepulveda controlling him for the moment.
Sepulveda wants to get up but he can't break Hines's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Hines is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Sepulveda has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Hines escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Hines!

Let's hope that Hines has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Sepulveda is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Hines is working to tighten his grip on Sepulveda's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Sepulveda has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Hines is really squeezing tight and eventually Sepulveda passes out! Hines breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
