Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Trey Oshiro! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Austin James! The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Santiago Holmes and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! James blocks a head kick by Oshiro.
James misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Oshiro really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. James tries to clinch but Oshiro is having none of it. Oshiro swats away the attempt to clinch by James. Oshiro throws a head kick but James moves out of range.
Oshiro moves into the clinch. James wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. James has Oshiro pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Oshiro manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. James can't find room to land a body shot as Oshiro controls the action.
A shot in the inside from Oshiro. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Oshiro working some nice short punches in the clinch. James is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Oshiro tries a body shot but James blocks it.

James is working for takedown but Oshiro is calmly controlling the position for now. James taking a breather. James is looking to break free of the clinch but Oshiro has double underhooks. James jumps guard but Oshiro stands there with James around his waist. James gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Oshiro stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. A short uppercut from Oshiro. Nice body punch from Oshiro - that landed with a thud.
Oshiro blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. James tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Oshiro smiles and moves away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Oshiro lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down James. Knees to the body from Oshiro.
James is trying to drag Oshiro to the mat but Oshiro just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. James wants to stall.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Oshiro cracks James with a nice body shot. Oshiro lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Oshiro tries a knee to the head but James blocks it.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. James has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Oshiro avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Oshiro comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Oshiro lands with a short punch from the clinch.

A nice right hand lands inside from Oshiro. Oshiro tries to land knees in the clinch but James avoids the damage to the body. Oshiro creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through James's defenses. Oshiro misses with a hook to the ribs.

Great action here. Oshiro is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. James is defending well for now. Oshiro struggles to land a body shot inside as James controls his hands.

We've been informed that James has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Oshiro is looking to score with knees to the body. Oshiro stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. James is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Oshiro pulls him back up using the underhooks. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

James takes an elbow to the temple. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. James prevents a body shot from Oshiro.

James drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Oshiro goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Oshiro because James was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
