The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Peter Branson and Winston Alpacca.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dalby moves into range and clinches up with Coupe.
Coupe really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Dalby tries to land knees in the clinch but Coupe avoids the damage to the body.
Coupe blocks an elbow strike from Dalby.
Dalby has Coupe pressed against the cage, preventing Coupe from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Coupe wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Coupe misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Dalby.
Dalby prevents the takedown attempt.
Coupe can't break the clinch.
Coupe looking for a takedown.
Dalby connects with a nasty looking knee right to Coupe's face.


It looks like Justin Coupe has been cut.
Coupe tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dalby connects with a knee to the head.

Coupe jumps guard but Dalby turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Coupe's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Coupe tries to keep at a distance but Dalby has taken the fight into the clinch.
Dalby pushes off an throws an elbow but Coupe leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Coupe is trying to force a seperation but Dalby has the dominant position.
Coupe dodges an elbow strike from Dalby.
Dalby tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Coupe avoids it.
Dalby keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Coupe's efforts to push away.
Dalby creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Coupe's defenses.


Justin Coupe's cut is getting worse.
Coupe tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Dalby just stands there and leans against the cage.
Dalby scores a nice knee to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Coupe wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Dalby has him pressed against the cage.
Dalby putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Coupe in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Coupe is breathing heavily.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Dalby.

Coupe is trying to maintain a safe position but Dalby gets an underhook and turns Coupe into the cage.

Coupe is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Dalby pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Coupe managing to block the knees to the body from Dalby.
Dalby is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Coupe is defending well for now.
