Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, David Hoff and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steven gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Steven takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Rousey instigates a clinch.
Rousey gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Rousey lands a couple of digs.
Rousey gets to his feet - Steven follows without any prompting.
Steven will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Steven tries to clinch up but Rousey circles away and keeps his distance.
Rousey forces Steven back against the cage and clinches.

Rousey turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Steven looks to move to half guard but instead Rousey has passed into mount! Damn!
That's one minute gone in the round.

Steven is desperately trying to improve his position but Rousey has a good base and remains in mount.

Rousey has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Steven's face.

Rousey tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

The referee warns Steven that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Rousey will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Rousey quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Rousey but it's paid off an Steven is forced to tap! Nice work by Rousey.
