Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Marco Tran!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Randy Clapper!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Reed Andrews and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tran on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Clapper lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Tran sprawling to the canvas. Clapper follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Tran hang on?


It looks like Marco Tran has been cut.
Tran keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Clapper thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Tran's head.
Tran pushes Clapper off looking to stand but Clapper dives back in and keeps control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tran regains full guard. Nicely done.
Clapper scoring with some ground and pound.
Clapper throwing strikes but missing.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Clapper pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Tran is keeping the position for now.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Clapper looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Clapper jabs at Tran's body.
Clapper misses with a series of wild punches.
Clapper uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Tran.
Tran misses with a looping right.
Randy Clapper is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Tran loads up on a big right hand but Clapper slips the punch.
Some wild striking there from Clapper.
Tran throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Clapper looks to land a combination but Tran avoids it well.
Tran misses the jab.

Tran feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Clapper sprawling to the canvas! Clapper rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Tran finish him?!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Clapper misses with a double jab.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Tran throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Clapper throws a counter combo.
Tran throws an ugly left hook that misses
enabling Clapper to counter with a crisp jab.
Jab, jab by Clapper - just one landing.
Clapper throws a right and a left that both miss.
Clapper rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tran moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Good shot there by Tran.
Tran drops Clapper with a naaaaasty hook - Clapper is in real trouble here! Tran dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marco Tran!
