Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sean Curry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lance Armsslow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lance Armsslow has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Sean Curry! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Lance Armsslow! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Steven Brown and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Armsslow closes the distance and clinches. Armsslow lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Armsslow wants to control but Curry is keeping him busy. Armsslow missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Curry is pressing down on Armsslow's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Armsslow trying to control the position from guard on top but Curry is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Armsslow being controlled here momentarily. Armsslow wants to control from the top but Curry keeps moving. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Curry really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Armsslow is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Armsslow gets a clinch. Armsslow turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Armsslow manages to end up in side control. Curry parries the strikes from Armsslow easily there. Armsslow is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Curry to escape.
Armsslow wants to stand but Curry has his arm trapped. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Armsslow tries to advance position but instead Curry slips a leg back in to half guard. Armsslow wants to free his trapped foot but Curry is holding on for dear life with his legs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Curry regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Armsslow. Curry is trying to keep Armsslow in close.
Armsslow trying to control the position from guard on top but Curry is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Armsslow looking to sit in guard and control but Curry gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Curry postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Armsslow is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Curry is aware though and is defending well. Curry throws a big elbow that misses. Armsslow trying to control the position.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Curry working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Armsslow's head. Armsslow utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Armsslow wants to sweep here but Curry controlling him for the moment.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Curry tries to sprawl but Armsslow drives through with a takedown into half guard. Armsslow is looking for a kimura here.
Armsslow seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Curry has recovered full guard. Armsslow looks winded! Curry is pulling down on Armsslow's head. It's preventing any offense from Armsslow, at least for the moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lance Armsslow dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Armsslow feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Armsslow is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Curry is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Curry has escaped and now he's on top! Armsslow trying to control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Curry gets to his feet. Armsslow looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Curry ducks under a wild hook from Armsslow. And Curry counters with a quick kick to the body but Armsslow blocks it. Sean Curry is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
That's one minute gone in the round. Armsslow bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. The strikes coming from Armsslow are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Lance Armsslow has got the better of the ground game so far. Curry dodges the ground and pound from Armsslow. What's Curry going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle. Armsslow is looking to take a break and control but Curry is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Armsslow decides to stand up, so the ref orders Curry to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Curry clinches. Curry has Armsslow pressed against the cage, preventing Armsslow from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Armsslow looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Curry looking to slow down the pace here. Come on Curry - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Armsslow pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. A head kick by Armsslow misses and Curry counters with a three punch combo that has Armsslow backing up. Armsslow nods at Curry to acknowledge the strikes. Armsslow looking to score a takedown here. Curry is defending well but Armsslow drives through and ends up in Curry's guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Curry has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Armsslow stands up from Curry's guard - Armsslow perhaps looking for a knockout.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Armsslow throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Curry tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Armsslow is in Curry's guard. Curry keeping moving, preventing Armsslow from controlling successfully. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Armsslow accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Armsslow looking to sit in guard and control but Curry gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Armsslow controls Curry momentarily but Curry frees himself. Curry working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Curry throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Armsslow works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Curry showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Armsslow working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Curry doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Curry manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Armsslow is breathing heavily. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Curry preventing the sweep. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lance Armsslow showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Curry gets tackled into the cage by Armsslow. Armsslow maintains the clinch. Curry has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. A battle for position here, against the cage. Curry controlling the action here for a moment.
Curry breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Armsslow closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Armsslow is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Curry knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Curry is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Armsslow asserts his dominance and retains side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Curry gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Armsslow thowing shots but they're missing. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Curry is squirming around, avoiding Armsslow's attempts to control the action.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Armsslow might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Curry haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Armsslow swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Curry is now in Armsslow's guard. A big mistake from Armsslow there, giving up the dominant position! Armsslow has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Armsslow working for a triangle but Curry defends it easily.
Armsslow takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Curry is stalling in the full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Curry has gone for a leg lock! Armsslow slips out almost immediately though and dives into Curry's guard. Curry wants to get back to his feet but Armsslow is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Armsslow wants to control from the top but Curry keeps moving. Armsslow must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Armsslow wants to stand but Curry is controlling his posture from full guard. Curry tries to land a sweep but no joy. Armsslow trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Curry keeping moving, preventing Armsslow from controlling successfully. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Sean Curry has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Lance Armsslow is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
And that's the end of the fight! Lance Armsslow comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Armsslow winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
