The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Dillan Fox and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tako looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Forbes looking to hit a scissor sweep but Tako is one step ahead there.
Tako forces his way into half guard.
Tako wants to control but Forbes is keeping him busy.
Forbes is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Tako is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Forbes is just riding it out for now. Tako eventually gives up the hold.
Tako is working for a submission of some sort.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tako seems to be looking for submissions.
Forbes knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tako on the ground.

Forbes is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Tako is pressing down on Forbes's thigh, looking to free his foot. Forbes is holding on for now.
Tako is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Forbes is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
