Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Franco Murphy Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson comes into the arena with perfect enemies blaring out of the sound system. Juan Gonzalez is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonzalez feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gonzalez works over Johnson with some ground and pound from guard.
Gonzalez is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Gonzalez looking to sit in guard and control but Johnson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Gonzalez looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Johnson passes into side control.
Gonzalez throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

Johnson wants to control from the top but Gonzalez keeps moving.
Johnson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gonzalez controls Johnson momentarily but Johnson frees himself.
Johnson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gonzalez swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Johnson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Gonzalez tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Johnson trying to control but Gonzalez is working from the bottom.
Gonzalez manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Johnson manages to get himself to full guard.
Gonzalez stands up and waves to Johnson to follow him.
Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gonzalez swats him away and circles back towards the center.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Johnson misses with a takedown
and Gonzalez counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Johnson!
Johnson is breathing heavily.
Gonzalez is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Johnson has escaped the position, nice work there.

Gonzalez in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Johnson is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
