Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chesty Puller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drew Sharp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Puller's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Your Going Down. Chesty Puller could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Drew Sharp's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Chesty Puller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Drew Sharp! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Dean Styles and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Puller misses with a looping left. A nice side step and Sharp releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Sharp displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Puller. Puller with a poor takedown and Sharp counters with a series of strikes. Puller will be more careful next time no doubt. Puller shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sharp pinned against the cage. Sharp gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chesty Puller. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Puller shoots in but Sharp avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Puller looks for a takedown but Sharp sprawls well. Puller shoots in but no luck this time. Sharp has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far. Puller shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Puller was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sharp can do anything to dispel that myth. Sharp is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Puller is controlling him well. Puller lands an elbow. Sharp is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Puller has just dragged him back down to the mat. Puller cracks Sharp with a big elbow. Puller working the ground and pound. Sharp really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Puller. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Puller creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Puller working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Puller landing a few strikes. This has been an exciting period of action! Sharp pushes Puller away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Puller gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Puller in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Sharp wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Puller cracks Sharp with an elbow. That is naaassty. Puller creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Sharp is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Puller is controlling him well. Puller landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Sharp is rocked! A big shot lands for Puller! That's hurt Sharp! Will he recover? Puller fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
