Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Joseph Edgar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sasha Parlsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Edgar comes to the cage accompanied by Dostrescinco - Voluntad. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sasha Parlsh!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Gwen Towbar and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edgar lands a slapping body shot.
Edgar fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Parlsh takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Some wild striking there from Parlsh.

Edgar lands a head shot.
Edgar ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Parlsh utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Edgar accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
We've been hearing good reports from Edgar's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Edgar throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Parlsh works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Edgar will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Edgar passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Edgar has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The strikes coming from Edgar are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Edgar unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Parlsh wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Edgar celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
