Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Smithing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ty Semerad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smithing comes to the cage accompanied by Shooting Stars. On his way into the cage it seems that John Smithing has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily John Smithing seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Ty Semerad!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Atkins and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Semerad is defended easily by Smithing.
It looked like Smithing was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Semerad has managed to clinch.
Smithing wants to break free but Semerad has control.
Semerad has hold of one of Smithing's legs. Smithing is fighting the takedown attempt but Semerad gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Semerad's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Semerad stands and throws Smithing's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Semerad throws a strike aimed at the side of Smithing's head but Smithing avoids it well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Smithing is trying to improve his position.
Semerad remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Smithing knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Semerad on the ground.
Semerad in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Smithing is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
