The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Dmitry Maklakov and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murder will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Tomas shoots in and drives through. Murder sprawls well.
Murder connects with a looping right hand.
Tomas gets a takedown into half guard.
Murder looking for submissions off his back.
Tomas is looking to advance position but Murder won't allow it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tomas wants to take a breather but Murder is having none of it.
Tomas seems to be working for a kimura but Murder defends the submission attempt.

Murder tries to roll over but Tomas keeps him under control.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Tomas wants to take a breather but Murder is having none of it.

Tomas is keen to just control but Murder is a slippery customer.
Murder is looking to control Tomas's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Murder avoid being mounted?
Murder is staying active underneath Tomas, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Murder connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Murder scores with a sloppy right hand. Tomas should have avoided that one.
Tomas has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Murder finds it's way round the side to connect with Tomas's head.
Tomas misses with a takedown attempt
and Murder connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Tomas shoots for a takedown but Murder saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Rapen Murder has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mikhael Tomas.
Murder throws a head kick that misses.
Tomas shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Tomas showed some decent athleticism there.
Murder regains full guard. Nicely done.

Tomas pushes down on Murder's leg and manages to get into half guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Murder is on top in guard.
Murder passes Tomas's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Tomas is defending against the submission attempts here by Murder.

That was a close round but I would say that Rapen Murder will probably get the nod.
That's time! Murder's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Tomas takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Murder bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Murder avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Tomas shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Murder has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Tomas doesn't defend quickly enough and Murder has managed to lock this one up! Can Tomas escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Murder on a fantastic submission victory.
