Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kazunori Ishii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Van Pol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ishii kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Imagine Dragons - Radioactive . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Steve Erwin and Ron Honeybunn.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donk. Pol catches Ishii right on the button with a cross.
Pol looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
A low kick from Ishii misses
and Pol counters with an outside leg kick.
Ishii ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Good leg kick by Ishii there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Pol smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Ishii looks to score with a jab to the body but Pol is just out of range.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Pol! But no joy.
Pol lands with a cross.
Pol connects with a leg kick. Ishii looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Ishii throws a leg kick
and Pol counters with a nice low kick that buckles Ishii's knee momentarily.
Pol cracks Ishii with a good jab.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Pol throws a leg kick but Ishii sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Pol lands a leg kick that knocks Ishii off balance momentarily.
Ishii dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Pol. That did some damage!
Ishii cracks a nice hook into Pol's ribs.
Ishii fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pol manages to avoid it.
Ishii throws out a leg kick but Pol moves out of range and Ishii only half commits.

and Pol counters with a flying knee. Nice.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Ishii, right into the meat.
Ishii digs a good body shot into Pol's ribs.
Ishii misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Pol.
Ishii takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Pol is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Pol throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Pol throws a leg kick but Ishii checks it.
Pol moves forwards but Ishii connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Pol lands with an overhand left.
Pol checks a low kick from Ishii.
Pol throws out a counter right but Ishii avoids it with no problem.
The fighters circle momentarily. Pol darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ishii attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Pol moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Ishii is rocked!
Ishii looks to land a combination but Pol avoids it well.
Oh Ishii is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Pol checks the leg kick.
Ishii seems to have got his legs back now.
The crowd cheers as Ishii lands an impressive looking overhand right. Pol doesn't seem phased though.
Ishii moves out of range as Pol strikes.
Ishii fires out a quick counter leg kick but Pol just manages to avoid it.
Pol delivers a nice body kick.
Pol lands a jab to Ishii's midsection.
Good work by Pol as he checks the leg kick.
Ishii misses with a low kick.
Pol listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Ishii swinging wildly here.
Ishii fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Pol is out of range.
Pol tries to close the distance and clinch but Ishii swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Ishii is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Pol.
Pol feints a counter leg kick.
Pol bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Ishii's head.
Ishii walks into a jab.
Ishii scores with a hook.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Pol takes the fight into the clinch.
Pol looking to stall.
Ishii misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Pol misses with a hook from the clinch.
Pol tries to work over Ishii's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Ishii tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Pol lands with a light punch inside.
Pol tries to throw a body punch but Ishii avoids it by throwing Pol back against the cage.
Ishii blocks an uppercut.
Ishii breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Pol is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ishii.
Ishii uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Pol.
The fighters circle, before Pol throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Ishii's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Pol lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Van Pol!
