Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steven Work (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marco Ce Mar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marco Ce Mar is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Steven Work! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Marco Ce Mar! The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Bart Greer and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Work misses with a leg kick and Mar counters by clinching up. Mar gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Work.
Work is looking to break free of the clinch but Mar has double underhooks. Work breaks the clinch.
No luck for Work with that takedown attempt. Mar tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Work defends well and Mar ends up having to push Work into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Work shoots in for a takedown but Mar shows good takedown defense. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Steven Work. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mar is defended easily by Work. Mar shoots in for a takedown but Work shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Work connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
That's one minute gone in the round. Work leaves Mar with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Mar slips a jab and a cross from Work.
Mar is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Mar fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Work avoids it really well and circles away. Work is looking for a counter combo. Mar on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Mar leaves Work with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mar shoots in for a takedown but Work shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Work fails in his attempt to clinch. Mar takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Mar forces Work back against the cage and clinches. Work has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Mar avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Mar escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Work throws a right and a left that Mar avoids nicely. Work backing away here, and Mar unleashes a leg kick that just misses. Mar gets in close and instigates a clinch. Mar is trying to drag Work to the mat but Work just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Work tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Mar just stands there and leans against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mar manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Mar will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Work in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Work advances position into side control! Work trying to control the position but Mar is working away. Mar tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Work wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. You can see the frustration on Mar's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Mar is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mar avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Work. Work has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Mar is refusing to be controlled, as Work sits in half guard. Work passes into side control, despite Mar's attempt to control the position.
Mar tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Work controlling the pace for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Steven Work dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Mar has his takedown stuffed and Work moves into the clinch. Work taking a breather. Work drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Mar is trying to pull guard but Work has him pressed against the cage. Mar pulls guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Mar can do anything to dispel that myth. Work trying to control but Mar is working from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Work passes Mar's left leg - he's now in half guard. Mar tries to get to full guard but Work has control of the leg.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mar is not content to let Work control the position. Mar wants to control but Work is keeping busy and won't allow it. Work trying to advance position but Mar counters by regaining guard. Mar working a defensive guard but Work manages to pass into side control anyway.
Mar is trying to control Work's posture but Work avoids it. Mar is trying to work for a sweep but Work has mounted him! Work is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Mar can do to turn this around?
That's two minutes gone in the round. Work lands a couple of good shots and Mar has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Work is hanging on to Mar's back as he tries to escape.
Work misses with a punch to the head. Work keeps control of the position as Mar tries to break free.
Mar just trying to survive but Work is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Mar is trying to stand back up. Work tightening his grip on Mar, looking for the choke.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Can Mar hold on?! Work is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
Mar is trying to get back to his feet but Work has full control of the position and if anything, Mar has just worked his way into a worse spot. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mar staying busy and making it hard for Work to control. Mar really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Work. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Work working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Mar is doing well to defend. Work seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Mar is forced to tap and this one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Steven Work!
