Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marin Petric (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sakari Koistinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Marin Petric!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sakari Koistinen!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Matti Vanhoillinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koistinen steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Petric.
Koistinen avoids the body shot from Petric.
Koistinen displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Petric throws out the jab.
Petric has closed the distance and engaged Koistinen in a clinch.
Petric can't break the clinch.
Petric wants to break the clinch but can't.
Petric is pressed up against the cage. Koistinen has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Petric down to the mat. Petric avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Petric thows a body shot but no joy.
Petric scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
A jab lands there for Petric.
Petric tries to close the distance and clinch up but Koistinen swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Koistinen shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Petric as he avoids it easily.
Petric clinches.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Koistinen has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Petric is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Marin Petric has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sakari Koistinen.
Petric wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Koistinen has him pressed against the cage.
Koistinen drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Petric gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Petric wants to break free but Koistinen has control.
Petric is trying to break free.
Koistinen tries to score a body lock takedown but Petric shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Koistinen is working for takedown but Petric is calmly controlling the position for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Koistinen tries for a takedown but Petric manages to get underhooks.
Koistinen is trying to drag Petric to the mat but Petric just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Petric manages to break the clinch.
Petric looks to land a left hand but Koistinen moved out of range nicely.
Petric ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Koistinen moves away.
Koistinen takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Koistinen looks gassed!
Petric stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Petric, as that shot connected.
Petric has taken the fight to the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Petric breaks from the clinch.
Petric misses with a looping right.
Petric misses with a wild body shot.
Nice defenses there by Koistinen.
Petric bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Koistinen's head backwards.
Petric connects with a nice looking jab.
Petric cracks Koistinen with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Petric has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Koistinen to stand back up!
Koistinen is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Petric drops Koistinen with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Koistinen! Petric dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (strikes). Marin Petric!
