Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palmer tries to clinch up
and Patel counters with a straight right hand.
Palmer tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Patel manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
It looked like Patel was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Palmer closes the distance but Patel moves to the side
and Patel counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Patel manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Palmer on his heels. He'll look to pass Palmer's guard now, I'm sure.
Palmer working for a triangle but Patel defends it easily.
Patel has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Patel wants to control from the top but Palmer keeps moving.
Patel is posturing up here but Palmer has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Patel tries to roll out but it's too tight and Patel has to tap! Slick submission there by Palmer!

Bob Palmer decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
